How the Service Area Was Drawn

The map starts in Fuquay-Varina and reaches into the towns that share its roads, schools and weather, spread across Wake, Harnett and Johnston counties. Every town listed here has its own page with local permit contacts, storm history and costs.

One state rule holds in all of them. G.S. 143-138(b5) usually exempts a same-for-same home re-roof priced at $40,000 or less from the building permit, and State Fire Marshal guidance caps that exemption at 15% of the roof deck replaced. Where the towns differ is who issues a permit when one is needed. Your roofer should confirm with that office and pull any permit the job calls for.
